Perfection is no accident
Doubts since school
This question has interested me since my school years. They talked about Darwin’s theory — and somehow it always raised doubts in me, constantly, ever since school.
And then, when I started studying at medical school, I understood how deeply all of this is arranged — our body. Today it is impossible to reproduce. What people try to clone, or whatever else, is a parody. There will never be a human being exactly like a human being: not today, not tomorrow, not in a thousand years, not in two thousand years. Because it is all designed that way.
Uniqueness. Every person is unique — and how can we repeat that uniqueness? Uniqueness is precisely that: unrepeatability.
The perfection of the body
And when I began studying medicine, I began to understand… Or rather, I did not begin but continued to understand — I simply already had some evidence in hand. I began to see how perfect this body is — the thing that was given to us from above.
Here are the small vessels, blood is flowing. If blood flows, if it moves — that is energy, that is life. And it is all so balanced: these contractions, the way it pulses — all of it is regulated. Here, in the head, is the centre; here is the periphery, the spinal cord. And from here it goes, such mechanisms are set in motion. How complex all of it is — and at the same time how simple.
“Complexity and simplicity at the same time”
Is any of this accidental?
So what were we talking about — the origin of the human being and of our planet in general. How can one think that this is accidental? That everything was born out of some explosion? Well, let us suppose so. But it is not accidental. It is a design, and it is not accidental.
And accordingly, this claim that people descended from apes — it is already so laughable once you understand all of this. And a question arises: fine, from an ape. And where did the ape come from? The answer: from such and such a mammal, then the reptiles, the whole chain. And where did that come from? And so, if you keep asking questions, we will eventually stop at the cell. And where did the cell come from?
Then come the theories that everything arose from an explosion, out there in space, and our planet was formed. So thought through, so perfect. And “thought through” in quotation marks — in reality everything there really is precisely coordinated.
Here is that perfection: the planet, the force of gravity, the Earth — everything is precisely balanced. Beginning with the surface layers of the atmosphere, with the surface of the Earth — and ending with the deep structures of the planet, down into the depths, and the very centre. Is all of this accidental? All of this?
This lives inside me, and I cannot stay silent. I have this understanding of it, and it is even deep knowledge. I do not even switch on thought, I do not switch on the process — it simply comes like that.
What to call it?
— In many religions the force that created all that exists is called God — or, depending on the religion, something else. So what is the correct name for it?
— There is no “correct” and no “incorrect”. There simply is. I have told you how it is. And to reason further about what I call it… I do not know. I do not know what it is or who it is. If I had experience of this, I would answer. I have no experience here, I have not encountered it.
They call it by the various words you listed. But I am deeply convinced… Even that is not a conviction — it is like knowledge that there is something or someone. Or, I don’t know, an extraterrestrial civilisation, intelligence in the universe. Some call it “higher intelligence”. These are all labels — that is, a human being invented them and gave the name. “Consciousness” — that is closer to this question.
But I believe it does not matter what you call it. It simply is — something that created us. I like the word “Creator”, it is easier for me to speak that way — although these are words too.
“It does not matter what you call it. It simply is — something that created us”
The planet Earth was created, and everything that exists on it: beginning with the cell and ending with the distances from here to there. Plants are perfect too — this is the peak of perfection. Everything on planet Earth, and planet Earth itself.
So when questions arise — “who is it”, “what is it” — I have answered you: these are incorrect questions. And in that lies the perfection. Such is the state of things in nature.
So the theories of scientists — dinosaurs, apes, all sorts of explosions — have a right to exist, because that is someone’s view.
The matter of proof: you cannot prove what is. What is — simply is. Why prove it? You end up at the level of “is”. And this understanding also is. This is the understanding of the subject that I am voicing.
